The SPS IPC Drives industrial automation exhibition will return to Parma, Italy from May 20th to 22nd for the fourth edition of the fair with a marked increase in the number of participants. Over 580 exhibitors will gather over a surface area of 48,000 square meters to explore the best tech solutions, as well as packaging innovation.
The first day of this year’s SPS IPC Drives will open with a round table discussion entitled Automation 4.0: Innovation and Competiveness for Italian Industry, dedicated to the transformation of production processes that is currently in course, with the participation of many leaders in the field. On Wednesday the 21st, a meeting called Automation in Food. Multi-functional Packaging: Not Just Stuffing, will be held at 10am showing exciting new developments in this branch of R&D.
Thursday, on the other hand, will treat Pharm and Beauty, a new entry for the 2014 show, with a focus on the importance of innovation in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector, offering a unique overview of these increasingly important categories, as well as the opportunities they present to businesses involved in product development.
