Flos Olei offers a map of olive oil producers throughout the world, as well as their top products, selected by a panel of tasters headed by the celebrated expert Marco Oreggia. The book is a census of 500 producers and 703 labels from 47 countries, and is published in both Italian and English.
For Italy, a historically recognized producer of excellent extra virgin oil, the guide lays out regional details on the most important areas for olive cultivation, together with notes on history and culture, and descriptions of typical varieties for each territory.
